David Lewis BA LLB (Partner)
David studied at University of Queensland and practiced in Brisbane and the Gold Coast before coming to Hervey Bay more than 30 years ago. He now works primarily in the fields of estate law, property and business law.
For several years David was president of the Maryborough/Hervey Bay District Law Association, representing this area's legal fraternity regularly at state-wide Law Society conferences. He has served in an executive capacity on a range of sporting, educational, cultural and community organisations. His personal interests include music and literature, he is a keen student of politics with a special interest in justice and ethics issues, and rates sailing as his favourite sport.
David is married with two adult children.

Darren Hunter B Com LLB (Partner)
Darren studied at University of Queensland, graduating in 1992 with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce.
He started his legal career in 1992 in Cairns with Williams Graham and Carman working in litigation before moving to Hervey Bay in 1997. Since then Darren has worked primarily in the fields of property law and family law. In 2001 Darren joined Lewis & McNamara as a solicitor before becoming a partner in the firm in 2002.
In his spare time he enjoys camping with his young family which allows him to enjoy surfing and an outdoors lifestyle including swimming and snorkelling. He plays hockey and squash regularly and golf irregularly.

Fred Kleinschmidt BA LLB (Consultant)
Fred graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts degree.
He was admitted to practice in 1977 after completion of articles in Toowoomba. Fred was a partner in a legal practice with offices in Hervey Bay and Maryborough until 1989 when he interrupted his legal career to serve as Mayor for Hervey Bay City for three terms.
Fred has worked with Lewis & McNamara since 1998. He has served as president of a range of sporting and community organisations. Recently he served as founding president of the Fraser Coast Branch of the Urban Development Institute of Australia and has also held the position of Chairman for local organisations such as Wide Bay Group Training and Wide Bay Water.
Fred also undertakes property development consultancy work and has been involved in many local landmark projects.
